Welcome to my site. I am the creator of LowerLeagueUSA, and I would like to tell you a little about myself.

I grew up playing soccer until 2010, I played mostly for the high school team, and various rec leagues in central Florida, and I played all over the pitch, but predominately goalkeeper. However I never watched soccer (with exception of world cup) until 2012. In 2012 I went to my first ever soccer game of any kind that I wasn’t playing in, when I traveled to Seattle to visit family and they took me to see the Seattle Sounders. That game got me hooked on the beautiful game and I started closely following MLS. Fast forward to 2015 when my local city got awarded a professional club in the now defunct NASL 2.0. The Jacksonville Armada came in, and I started heavily following them, and I started to learn more and more about the lower leagues between NASL and USL, still blind to the amateur side of the sport, but that all changed when the NASL shut its doors and my club found itself in the NPSL. Since that day I have invested a significant amount of time into learning about many different clubs from around the nation from USL C all the way down to local leagues (such as the BDSL). Then the infamous year of 2020 came about, and the world began to shut down. I quickly noticed how this affected amateur clubs more than anyone else, and I started to buy memberships/ownerships in many clubs around the nation, it was a start to what became LowerLeagueUSA today. I created the March Madness bracket of LLUSA to help bring awareness to clubs around the nation, and hope they gain new local fans, and maybe even a bit more in merchandise sales to keep their clubs afloat through the treacherous times.

I still believe in supporting these clubs around the country as we (hopefully) begin to transition out of the pandemic back to some form of normalcy, and will add content as I continue to grow that’ll benefit clubs from all over.
